Terms of Service
Last updated: August 2026. By paying for and using JobFit Rewrite, you agree to these terms.
1. What the service is
JobFit Rewrite takes the resume and job posting you submit and returns an AI-generated, tailored resume and cover letter as a Markdown document. That is the entire deliverable. We do not submit applications on your behalf, contact employers, guarantee an interview, or guarantee a job offer. Whether you're contacted by an employer depends on many factors outside our control, including the employer's own process.
2. Who it's for
This service is offered to customers located outside Japan only. You confirm your country of residence at checkout, and that confirmation is treated as accurate. Ordering from Japan is a breach of these terms and may not be fulfilled.
3. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of legal majority where you live, to purchase and use this service.
4. Your content is your responsibility
You're responsible for the accuracy of the resume and job posting you submit. We don't verify your work history, credentials, or the legitimacy of the job posting. Don't submit content that's false, that misrepresents your qualifications, or that you don't have the right to share with us. We reserve the right to refuse or cancel an order we reasonably believe violates this.
5. AI-generated content, plainly disclosed
Every deliverable is written by AI from the material you provide. We instruct the underlying process not to invent experience, employers, or numbers you didn't give us — but AI output can still contain errors. Review your resume and cover letter carefully before you use them. You're responsible for what you submit to an employer under your name.
6. Payment and refunds
$19, one job posting, paid once — no subscription. Delivery begins as soon as you submit your resume and job posting; by doing so, you ask us to start immediately and agree that this may begin before any statutory withdrawal period you'd otherwise have would end. If what you send us has no genuine overlap between your resume and the job posting, we won't fabricate a fit — reply to your delivery email and let us know, and we'll refund you in full within 1-3 days of receiving your message. If we miss our 48-hour delivery window for any reason, we refund you in full automatically, with no need to ask. Outside of these cases, payments are final once a deliverable has been sent.
7. Your data
Your resume and the job posting are used only to generate your deliverable. We don't sell or share them with third parties, and we don't use them to train any model. We use third-party form, email, and payment providers to collect and deliver your order; your data may pass through their servers as part of that process.
8. Ownership of your deliverable
The tailored resume and cover letter we generate for you are yours — use them, edit them, submit them however you like. We don't retain any ownership claim over your specific deliverable. This doesn't give you any rights to our prompts, processes, branding, or any other customer's materials.
9. No warranty
The service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied — including, to the fullest extent the law allows, any implied warranty of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We don't warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any outcome (interviews, offers, or otherwise) will result from using it.
10. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim arising from or relating to this service is limited to the amount you paid us for that order ($19). We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages — including lost income, lost opportunities, or hiring outcomes — even if we were advised such damages were possible.
11. Indemnification
You agree to hold us harmless from any claim or dispute arising from content you submitted to us, your use of the deliverable, or your breach of these terms.
12. Changes
We may update these terms or the service itself as it evolves. The version posted here at the time of your order is the one that applies to that order.
13. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Japan, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, regardless of where you access or use the service from.
14. General provisions
These terms are the entire agreement between us about the service and replace any prior discussion of it. If any part of these terms turns out to be unenforceable, the rest stays in effect. If we don't act on a breach right away, that doesn't mean we're giving up our right to act on it later.
